The Emancipation Fellowship Ministries African Students Scholarship Fund
The Emancipation Fellowship Ministries African Students Scholarship Fund is firmly rooted in the belief that every individual is created in the image of God, and it is with this conviction that we dedicate ourselves to empowering young African scholars by providing financial assistance to complete their pursuit of higher education. This initiative is more than a charitable effort; it is a sacred mission to nurture the development and growth of future leaders who will serve as instruments of God's peace and justice on the Continent of Africa.
Our primary goal is to offer contingency funding for African students who have the resources to enroll in universities such as Abilene Christian University but find themselves unable to complete their education due to unforeseen political and economic circumstances back home. We believe that the Church has a unique responsibility to see that investing in the education of African students is just as crucial as investing in missions designed to spiritually impact African nations.
Moreover, this initiative is not a one-way street. We recognize the profound importance of having African students within the student bodies of Christian colleges and universities in America. Their presence enriches the educational experience, allowing American students to learn directly from their African peers, thus developing global relationships that will endure for a lifetime.
The Emancipation Fellowship Ministries African Students Scholarship Fund is a sincere attempt to support the next generation of global leaders in reaching their fullest potential, without strings attached or hidden agendas. This effort is a testament to our faith in a God who calls us to walk humbly, love mercy, and do justice, reflecting the heart of the Gospel in all that we do.
